@ Hennepin Healthcare (Minneapolis, MN)
I’m originally from Wausau, Wisconsin, and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh before attending medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. I come from a family of five siblings all who are first-generation college students. We pursued very different paths in IT, HR, healthcare, and music. Our parents, who worked tirelessly in factory jobs after completing high school, instilled in us the value of hard work and perseverance, and we remain forever grateful for their sacrifices. The family I’ve built now includes my incredibly supportive and loving fiancé and our sweet dog, Tully. What I enjoy most about medicine is that you never stop learning. You’re constantly challenged intellectually while working with a team that shares the same goal of helping others. I love bridging educational and cultural gaps to empower patients and improve their well-being. My professional interests include women’s health, LGBTQ+/gender-affirming care, and addressing health disparities. Outside of medicine, I enjoy snowboarding, biking, camping, and exploring the outdoors. Please feel free to reach out if you’re interested in pursuing higher education or a career in healthcare especially if you’re thinking about becoming a doctor!
